This Bed & Breakfast is in the team "Amici Bella Romagna"

It is situated in the north-west side within the city of Ravenna, capital of the ancient Western Roman Empire. Throughout the years the city has been dominated by Teodorico and the Bizantine empire and it still shows the extraordinary mosaics, held in the simplicity of bricks, inside the magnificent monuments and the sumptuous basilicas. For its particular urban location it is reachable from the most important lines of communication, both railway and road ones. The Bed & breakfast is located in a quiet residential district and, at the same time, close to the most important historical monuments of the city. The landlord, Giordano,will place his bikes to your disposal in order to reach the nearby city centre and he will be pleased to give you all the useful brochures, maps and leaflets for your visits to the various monuments. You can spend your leisure time either in the reading room or in the green garden, or you can have the possibility to visit the private collection of minerals, collected during Giordano’s numerous journeys around the world.

For all nature’s lovers it will be possible to borrow bikes in order to make excursions in the Po delta and spend evocative moments in a typical fishing hut situated on the right bank of the Bevano river. At the same time it will be possible to visit the natural reserve called “Ortazzo”, surrounded by an ancient pinewood.

Breakfast is served according to the traditions of our region: home made cakes and marmelades are served in a charachteristic room furnished with fireplace and antique furniture.
